Competitive Robotics

I have extensive experience in competitive robotics, ranging from drone racing to mini-sumo robots. My involvement in these competitions has allowed me to develop and refine my skills in robotics, focusing on creating efficient and high-performance robots. In drone racing, I have led teams to design and optimize drones for speed, agility, and precision, competing at both national and international levels. Additionally, in mini-sumo robots, I've worked on developing compact robots capable of competing in one-on-one battles, requiring expertise in motor control, sensors, and strategy. My goal in these projects has always been to push the boundaries of robotics, constantly exploring new technologies and techniques to create innovative solutions across different fields of robotics.

Creator of Racing Drones

Since 2022, I have been dedicated to creating racing drones, a field where precision, speed, and innovation are key. My work focuses on designing, building, and optimizing drones to compete in high-speed races, which involves mastering various aspects of aerodynamics, mechanics, and electronics. Additionally, I am passionate about aerial photography and use drones to capture stunning views from above. This dual focus not only enhances my skills in drone technology but also allows me to combine engineering with creative expression through the visual art of drone photography.

This victory reflects the effort, dedication, and high level of skill of the Mechatronic Engineering students at UCB, solidifying their leadership in the discipline and showcasing the quality of education at the university.

BOLIVANBOT 2022

UCB Students Achieve Excellent Results at the 2022 Bolivia Science and Technology Olympiad

Students from the UCB La Paz campus, enrolled in the Mechatronic Engineering program, excelled in the Bolivia Science and Technology Olympiad "BALLIVIANITOBOT" 2022 with outstanding performances in multiple categories. In the ROBOFUT category, the team achieved 2nd place, winning a trophy, medal, and a monetary prize. In the DRONES category, students secured 2nd and 3rd place, earning trophies and medals for their exceptional performance.

Thanks to these accomplishments, both teams were accredited to participate in the Latin American Science and Technology Olympiad, which will take place in Tlaxcala, Mexico in October. Additionally, a group of students was invited to support the logistics of the competition, showcasing the commitment and capability of UCB students in high-level events.

This participation not only highlights the talent of Mechatronic Engineering students but also elevates the reputation of the Universidad Católica Boliviana (UCB) in the fields of science, technology, and innovation. Congratulations to all the students who represented our program in this significant event!
